Born on Manhattan and now living on Vashon, Cathy likes island life. Her acting career began in Pennsylvania with a BFA from Carnegie Mellon University and five years at The People’s Light & Theatre Company; then to LA where she performed on stage, in film and television, and produced plays; to Berkeley where her roles included Woody Allen’s Blue Jasmine and Sister Aloysius in Doubt; and now Vashon Island as a member of Vashon Repertory Theatre, where she has appeared in War of the Worlds and Savage/Love. Cathy loves her role as farmer and owner of Lavender Hill Farm and mother to four grown children and one adorable grandchild.
