This group of actors, technical professionals, designers, and VRT leaders gathered on Day One for the first read of The Story of Edgar Sawtelle. They'll turn it into 9 fabulous performances, October 10 through 20 at Vashon Center for the Arts. Tick Blocking -- It's about where the actors will move and how. They have to do it while remembering their lines and who they're inter-acting with. Director Jane Jones tells the Sawtelle ensemble where to go..."You want me to do what?" The magic that turns a script into a stunning play starts very simply, with ideas sparked by that script. Here set designer Kevin McKeon shares his images for the backdrop of The Story of Edgar Sawtelle.
