About The Plays
She’s Hot
Paul is about to lose his cush advertising job. But that’s not his only problem. With a wife gone nuts, cars floating down the street, and the temperature pushing 120 the week before Christmas, there’s more than enough to cope with on this “normal” Monday morning in New York City. So when the electrical grid finally collapses on the Eastern seaboard, and Paul’s scary new boss offers up the promotion of a lifetime in exchange for what’s left of his integrity, he’s ultimately faced with a choice. Does he continue to play by capitalism’s rules in the face of disaster or finally make a stand for something real?
Legacies: A Ghost Story
A woman finds that the house she has lived in since the Beginning of Time is starting to crumble and fall down around her. As she travels through her house: the basement, the attic, going through drawers and closets trying to pack up and salvage what she can, she finds documents, mementos, even residents, she had long ago forgotten about, and must come to terms with the ghosts of her historical past that are haunting her in the here and now.
House Fire Project
A tribute to imperfect familial love, this one-woman show is an autobiographical investigation of a mother, a house fire, and about what's revealed when things burn.
The Standing Nation
A solo show that explores the language of trees, their necessity to the survival of our planet and what we might learn from them if we knew how to listen.
Kill Me Don’t Go
It’s just a regular Saturday in the pandemic, with the smoke of distant wildfires thinning, and Amy and Morgan are just fine…until one of them wants to know what to cook for dinner. A dark rom-com about very long term relationships. And eating each other. Or just eating dinner.
The Manor
In a nursing home and memory care facility in a remote corner of Washington State, the one male resident, Gil Fletcher, stays busy keeping the beds of female co-residents warm. But questions of consent become tricky with the arrival of a new aide who challenges the home's free love policies. It's the Alzheimerzy sex romp you've been waiting for! There's also quite a bit about Nicki Minaj.
